A Texas court reporter I know has been issued a subpoena by the DA to provide to him a transcript she produced in a civil case for use in a criminal matter. Does the reporter notify all parties in the civil matter of the subpoena? Can the reporter charge the DA for the transcript? Should the reporter seek legal advice from an attorney before taking any action involving this matter? Thank you, Kathleen Spreen, Texas CSR
